After trying many, no I mean loads of different reflective sources over the years I must say the DDC Light gives an awesome reflection. Anyone local is welcome to come and try it.

Hi Gary, The DDC light is the one talked about on the doording.com forum. Made by Ricky Bayne who owns that said forum, if you have a look on there you will see some picture.

When I have guys here for training I let them play with 4 or 5 different reflective sources all plump for the DDC light. I showed on to the Vauxhall plant they now have 8 on the production line, likewise BMW are showing an interest in it, it just gives off the most amazing fog.

I do use it a lot outside, although there are days when it is just too sunny, but not often, I also carry a gold reflective straight bar from Dentex and a reflective board from Inventure. I suffer from double vision so it is very important for me to use the best reflective source for what my eye's need in the conditions.

What I will add is that not everyone can get on with the same fog, or reflective source, I think there it is good to try a few even the most experienced guys can find new ways and methods, makes for a great trade.

Hey Thinker,
I have been eyeing up this light for some time due to the good reviews.  Did you get it direct from ddctools in the states?  What was the total cost including postage and tax?  Does it use standard size tubes?

Cheers
Kev

By the time I got the first one here and paid all the duties and carriage etc. it came to about £210, yes they do use a standard 15watt t8 tube available from lots of places. I like many guys use it inside and out depending on lighting conditions. I have 4 different light plus various reflective sources and consider my DDC light the best of the lot.
